This session was such a relaxing and joyful experience! I spent the day with my dear friend Angel and her pup Vakita, celebrating her birthday with a fun, outdoor adventure. We explored the beautiful trails of Boulder, Colorado, taking in the fresh air, sunshine, and breathtaking scenery along the way.
One of the highlights of this session was experimenting with a different editing style to match Angel’s personal aesthetic. It was a fun challenge that helped me stretch my creative muscles and allowed the images to feel truly unique to them. From vibrant, sunlit shots to softer, more intimate moments, each image reflects the personality of both Angel and Vakita.
Photographing Vakita in her natural environment was a joy. Seeing her run, explore, and enjoy the hike made the session feel playful and authentic. But what truly made this day special was witnessing the bond between Angel and her pup. Their connection, full of love, trust, and joy, was evident in every glance, playful pause, and shared moment.
