This session was all about confidence, color, and unapologetic energy. I met Leilani and Asheala at the Denver Fashion Show, and we instantly clicked. Not long after, we decided to put together a session to build their portfolios, and it turned into one of the most fun, high-energy shoots.
We spent the day running around the RiNo district in downtown Denver, taking full advantage of the vibrant murals, bold colors, and city textures that make that area so iconic. Every corner gave us something new to play with, and it created the perfect backdrop for an editorial-style shoot.
The energy the two of them brought was everything: confident, playful, and completely magnetic. We danced in the streets to Beyoncé, hyped each other up between shots, and just fully leaned into the moment. It felt effortless, creative, and so alive!
What I love most about sessions like this is the freedom. There’s no overthinking, just movement, expression, and stepping into your power. And Leilani and Asheala did exactly that.
This shoot was bold, vibrant, and full of that “main character” energy, and I’m still obsessed with how it all came together.
