This was such an exciting and unforgettable day, my first time co-hosting a styled shoot! Hosted by Crystal Rojas Creative and Joy Transformed to bring some mermaid magic to life, and seeing the vision unfold was truly magical. The day was filled with laughter, creativity, and the energy of so many talented local creatives coming together. Plus a splash of random dance sessions!
They designed pastel, dream-like sets that felt whimsical, ethereal, and full of movement. Every detail, from props and backdrops to styling and wardrobe, was carefully considered, with attention to creating an immersive, cohesive experience. Skyeaire and Michelle Delahoussaye provided the wardrobe that elevated the look, while MakeFaces1, Miss.Mia.Mua, and Carmen Anette Beauty crafted makeup that complemented the dreamy aesthetic perfectly.
What made the day even more special was seeing how each photographer brought their own perspective and style to the shoot. The final images from everyone involved were unique, breathtaking, and full of personality, capturing the essence of the day in ways that no single lens could replicate.
This collaboration wasn’t just about capturing beautiful photos; it was about connection, care, and creative exploration. It was a day full of inspiration, joy, and magic that will stay with me for a long time!
